Common questions
Chase Total Checking has a monthly service fee that can be waived by meeting one of several criteria: maintaining a minimum daily balance, having direct deposits totaling a qualifying amount each month, or having a linked Chase Premier Plus Checking account. Zelle is built into the Chase Mobile app and Chase Online banking. You can send money to anyone with a U.S. bank account and a registered Zelle email address or phone number. Transfers to other Chase customers are typically instant. Transfers to other banks usually arrive within minutes.
Chase generally requires a valid government-issued ID and a U.S. address to open an account. Some branches may accept additional forms of identification for customers without a Social Security number. Contact your local branch directly for the most current requirements.
